Dr. Valerie Relacion


Dr. Relacion is a Board Certified Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatrist who has over twenty years of experience.  Dr. Relacion attended medical school at The Ohio State University College of Medicine in Columbus, Ohio.  She completed her residency, and Child & Adolescent fellowship at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, where she served as the Chief Resident her final year of her general psychiatry residency.


Dr. Relacion's has years of experience working as an inpatient, partial hospitalization, and outpatient psychiatrist.  She has also worked in school mental health in both public and military schools. 

She has worked in  private practice for over twelve years, where she has focused on women's mental health care and treating children.   


Dr. Relacion has been designated a Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association (DFAPA).  Her years of service and work with youth and families in underserved populations has been an important part of her growth in the field of psychiatry.

Dr. Relacion has completed a year long fellowship and is a Certified Integrative Psychiatric Provider (CIPP).  


Psychiatric Evaluations for for Children, Adolescents, and Adults. Integrative treatment approaches for Mood and Anxiety Disorders, AD/HD, ASD, OCD, and other conditions.

I am happy to provide medical services for patients aged 6 to 64.


Please note the following important information regarding my payment policies:

  • I do not accept Medicaid or Medicare.

  • All services are self-pay. I do not participate with, or have a direct contractual agreement with any insurance company to accept their rates for services.

  • I can provide a superbill for patients wishing to seek reimbursement independently.

  • Any specific questions regarding your eligibility for reimbursement should be directed to your insurance provider.

As a Certified Integrative Psychiatric Provider (CIPP), I am excited to work with patients who are interested in exploring alternative treatment options to achieve wellness.

In the event that an aforementioned holiday falls on a weekend, the following Monday shall be recognized as the holiday, for which the assistant shall be unavailable to provide service to clients. Clients are solely responsible for coordinating the provision of services on any holiday.
